Karina Tyma, Ewen Howard, Roushan Yau and Scott parker all performed very well last weekend (12/13-02-2011)

Karina (pictured in blue), having won the county under 13 Championships (aged only 10) in early january, continued her run of form by winning the girls under 11 Birmingham university junior open. Karina is the younger sister of Konrad (now a student at UWE university in bristol and one of the original members of the elitesquash Junior program. In fact one of the major reasons Karina is practicing so much at the moment is to beat her Brother!

Other successes at the birmingham junior open where Ewen Howard - winner boys under 15 and Scott Parker 3rd place boys under 15. Ewen fully deserves this title as he has been showing great form during group and individual training highlighting the benefits of quality practice. Scott, a new member to the eilte junior team showed the potential which has led to his selection with a solid 3rd place. He is learning the control the ball and his movement better all the time. If he continues to apply himself as he is at the moment then reaching a top 3 junior ranking is certain.

Meanwhile, at the Wimbledon junior open, Roushan secured 2nd place in the boys under 15's.  As with all the players above Roushan has worked hard recently. He has applied detailed strengthening and balance training with extra solo practice in addition the his two group and one individual lesson each week.
